Please, Pick Up is a small visual novel set in the early '90s, created in Godot for the O2A2 Jam 2026!

O2A2 stands for "Only One of Any Asset" which is why the entire game takes place in a phone booth. That said, this jam also had the limitation of only 1000 words, which turns out, is not that much to work with.

The dialog had to get cut pretty hard to fit the limit and there was a lot that we wanted to add...

So we will!

Some time after the jam, we'll be releasing an expanded version featuring more calls, more endings and longer, un-cut conversations.

There's a whole lot of drama behind this story and a lot of little easter eggs I wanted to add so if that sounds like your kind of thing, please follow to play the update when it's released.

We can't wait to share more of the story~ ♥

Thank you!

LOVED the interactivity of this. Clever story telling and brilliantly executed. So cool when the handwritten name and numbers appear on the note paper. Nice touch with the 6 endings on the top left for motivation.  Thanks for this gem of a game!

Extremely clever way to tell a puzzle story within the limits of the O2A2 Jam! I can definitely see this expanded after the Jam with more content, but even as it is, it was satisfying to hunt down the last few endings. Very impressive work!

This was cute and fun, I love puzzles so I enjoyed figuring out the combos to get all the endings !!! I can't wait to see what the full story is like :3

Thank you! I'm glad you had fun with it <3<3
